48V 6KW Growatt SPF 6000T DVM Low Frequency Split Phase 120V & 240VAC. Low Frequency models offering up to 3+ x Power surge capacity (18kW for 20MS) Ideal for starting power tools, well pumps, welders etc, this can do it all! We have had a lot of sales on mobile business converting their mobile workshops to solar, and using this puppy to run their entire shop on wheels. (carpenters, welders, especially) No need to run that noisy generator, plaster the roof with solar panels, and run them on 48V nissan Leaf modules. Provides split phase out the box (not parallel able) – you’re maxed out at 6Kw which is a ton of power considering the surge capability. Not Grid Tied, but does have grid assist (transfer switch). Because it has an output transformer. You can pull the full 6KW load from the 120V Output or the 240V Output. (which is not the case on the High Frequency models). NOT parallelable – 6KW only (12KW model available on our site, see manual links below , as well as use your ingenuity to find us). Quick Specs (see Image in listing for more details). 6kW Nominal Output (120V or 240V combined loads). 18kW Surge Output for 20ms. Power Factor 1.0. Solar Max Charging 80A at 48V, (5000W Max solar array), Mppt range 60 to 145VDC (Max 150Voc). Utility Charging Max 50A at 48V (40 to 58VDC). Built in transfer switch (switches load to Generator / Utility of battery voltage is too low – and charges at the same time). Dimensions, 23 x 17 x 9 inches, 105 lbs. I think this will be able to solve many high startup current applications, well pumps, etc. Some more technical reading.. Whole (small) house power module, all in one. There is nothing quite like it on the market. Supplies a massive 50A output at 120V , 25A at 240V. USA Breaker Box compatible, L1 – N – L2 (120 – 0 – 120V). Whole house power at 6kW. A massive 18kW surge capability. Wifi Module – Growatt Shine Link for your Iphone / Android available in our store. Grid Assist Feature bypasses the inverter in case of overload or programmable UPS function, or low battery. 60A Utility/Generator Battery charger (60A x 48V = 2800W at 240V Utility supply). Generator Dry contact start output. Generator / Utility needs to supply 240V to charge the battery. 80A (5kW) Solar MPPT Charge controller (60 to 115Vmp). Number of panels you can connect = 5000W / [your panel wattage] – example 5000 /345W = 16 panels , 5000 / 240W = 22 (21) panels etc. If your Solar panels’ Vmp (Voltage at maximum power – the lower of the two numbers on your panel spec) (Not Voc) voltage is between 38.3 V and 57.5V, you can connect 2 in series with matching parallel strings to add up to the number of panels as in formula above. 16 x 40V panels would be connected in 2s8p. If your Vmp is between 28.75V and 38.3V you can connect 3 in series with matching series strings connected in parallel to add up to the number of panels as in formula above. Example: 21 x 35V panels would be connected in 3s7p. If your Vmp is between 17V and 28.75V, then 4 in series with matching series strings connected in parallel to add up to the number of panels as in formula above. Example 48 x 20V panels(maybe 100W) would be in 4s12p (48 panels). AC Breaker Recommendation (double pole 240V) 8AWG, 80A (Input & Output). PV Input DC breaker (8AWG)= Total Solar Panel Watts / Solar Panel Array Voltage x 1.25 (example 16 x 300W)(37Vmp) Solar Panels = 4800W of Solar connected in 2s configuration gives 37V x 2 = 74V, 4800 / 74 = 64A, 64A x 1.25 (25% more) = 80A. Battery , 6000W / 48V = 125A x 1.25 = 150A DC Breaker to battery bank. (2 x 3 AWG). Battery recommended to be no less than 250Ah (12kWH, can be Lead Acid, AGM, LifePO4, Li-Ion etc any battery between 40 to 60V DC). Battery is required to operate! There is no maximum battery size recommendation (Ah). User manual can be downloaded at. Guide to programmable parameters (page 12). The generator charger is a different beast to the solar charger. (Does not utilize the Bulk and Float Charge settings) It works on a float valve type principle. (triggers when battery voltage drops below that on setting 12 – set the voltage higher than current battery voltage to start charging right away) Stops charging from Generator when setting 13′ s voltage is reached Will not start charging the battery again until it drops below battery voltage – in setting 12. Setting 01 set to SBU to activate setting 12 and 13. Note, setting Setting 11 too high for your generator may cause your generator to falter at startup, and cause the Inverter Charger to lose synchronization with the Generator (58 to 63Hz), if in doubt start small, and work your way up. Visit our Wiki Page for understanding how to wire your panels, calculate loads etc. How to wire into your breaker panel. Free wifi monitoring USB Module included in this bundle while stocks last. This fills a particular market niche that we just weren’t getting a product for. Create a video of how you installed your system. The Solar Panels you chose, and why (Watts, Volts, Amps, Wire size chosen, length of run, using online volt drop calculator etc). The Battery you chose, and why. Inverters menu and operation (What mode you are using it as, and why). Load testing your system. If you have two or more units, split phase operation. Charging via generator (optional). How and where the unit is installed and hooked up. SPF 3000TL LVM – 48P solar 3KW 48V Split phase capable pure sine wave output (also available in 24V, 3KW), stack-able. Supports Li Ion and Lead Acid, and other chemistries between 40V and 58V. LiFEPO4 are great, so are the Nissan Leaf Li-IONS. NOTE: These units do support the Growatt Batteries with Growatt BMS (these will be available later on in the year), for now, choose battery type “USR” or USER, and enter in your battery suppliers (Bulk, Float, Low Voltage Cutoff, and Charging Amps) – Your BMS will NOT communicate with the inverter. (If you want to mess with the BMS protocol to interface to your Arduino or whatever, the protocols can be found at usa-mpp-solar. Com/manuals/gw). Another note, there seems to be a lot of confusion about BULK and Float Charge Setting. Bulk Charging, is usually the 90 or 95% or less than MAXIMUM Battery voltage, this is where the fast charging mode occurs. (usually around 58V) (contact your supplier). Float Charging (holding charge), is the resting or nominal voltage of the LiIon or LiFePO4, when it is fully charged, but now in a resting state with no load, usually around 51 to 52V for LiFEPO4 (contact your supplier). Low Voltage Cutoff, this is the voltage the inverter needs to turn off before depleting the battery – you want your inverter to shut off BEFORE your battery to dies, or the BMS to disconnects (usually around 47V or whatever the 20% charge voltage is). This unit is not a knockoff like POW EASUN etc. This is a very well built / designed product, otherwise we wouldn’t sell or support it. Supplied by a top tier support outlet here in the USA, (Utah). Parallel Kits already built in. Very detailed LCD display. (Not Grid Tied – no feedback, only Grid assist – the load gets switch over to grid when all else fails). 1 6000 W Pure Sine wave output expandable up to 18 kW (single or Split Phase configurable – will need to all be connected to the SAME battery, make sure its large enough to handle the load for the time – usually 2 days or more). (6000 / 240 = 25A or 6000 / 120V = 50A). 2 2 x 4.5kW MPPT Solar Charge controller (9Kw of Solar). 3 2 x 40 A (80A) 48V Utility Battery Charger (In case your battery level falls below your setpoint). 4 UPS function, wire it to the Utility power, if battery power is too low, the system automatically switches the load to Utility power. 5 Single 120V 60Hz , Split phase (120V – 0 – 120V) (includes parallel board for each unit). 6 Pure Sine wave output expandable up to 18 kW (single or Split Phase configurable – will need to all be connected to the SAME battery, make sure its large enough to handle the load for the time – usually 2 days or more). Growatt is well known brand amongst solar professionals. Download your manual from. The generator charger is a different beast to the solar charger.
